Lisa Kamphuis at Whole Woman Health uses trusted integrative healthcare practices to address hormone imbalances in the body.
Conventional hormone therapy uses synthetic hormones that are different than hormones found naturally in the body. By contrast, bio-identical hormones are biochemically the same as those produced in the body. Bio-identical hormones produce the same effects in the body as hormones that the body produces naturally. Whole Woman Health is committed to taking the natural approach to hormone therapy, treating patients with bio-identical hormones rather than synthetic hormones.

- Menopause Hormone Therapy
Hormones can be used to treat common symptoms of menopause and aging. Using the integrative approach to hormone therapy, Whole Woman Health can help alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms of menopause, including hot flashes, mood swings, sleep problems and vaginal dryness.
- Male Hormone Therapy
Testosterone levels gradually decline for men beginning at age 30. Through holistic hormone therapy, testosterone levels can be boosted to a normal range, improving mood, cognition, energy, athletic performance and libido.
- Adrenal Balancing
Adrenal glands produce hormones that regulate metabolism, the body’s response to stress, and blood pressure. An imbalance of these hormones can cause weight gain, depression, fatigue, or other symptoms. Whole Woman Health provides nutrition counseling along with hormone and nutritional supplements to support healthy adrenal gland functioning.
- Thyroid Balancing
The thyroid produces hormones that regulate metabolism. Through a health assessment, Whole Woman Health can help determine if symptoms, such as muscle pain, hair/skin changes, fatigue, depression or fertility problems, indicate a thyroid imbalance, and can provide assistance and counseling to improve thyroid function.
